Service Fees
Professional Fee Payment
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We prefer checks, but we also offer card services and pass on a 3% processing fee. This allows us to quote cash rates to everyone, rather than charge credit rates and offer cash discounts. This is much like the fee schedule offered by gas stations.
Card information is collected when DET Verification events are scheduled and a quote for expected services is emailed with an appointment notification containing a payment agreement. The payment agreement has options for when check payment will be received or authorization for immediate payment after services are provided. Card payments are processed as agreed.
Payment agreements need to be received before work begins, preferably emailed or provided on-site. Verbal agreements are accepted over the phone when the agreement hasn’t been received before the appointment to avoid delaying work.
